Iron Sky: Destiny - Nazis on the moon
Über das eBook
The year is 1945. The Third Reich has unleashed, and subsequently lost the Second World War. Their home in Europe lies in ruins, and their dictator Hitler has escaped by means of suicide. However, some incorrigible Nazi soldiers, scientists and civilians make their way from a secret research station in Antarctica (Neu Schwabenland) to the moon. The moon? Yes, the moon. The so-called Reichsflugscheibe has been developed under utmost secrecy, and now the deluded, miserable remainder of a once considerable force hopes to build a future in space in order to establish the Fourth Reich on Earth one day.
Author Ilsa von Braunfels wrote this short story as part of the IRON SKY universe, inspired by the movie of the same name. This small prequel to the main story of "IRON SKY - The Book to the Movie Phenomenon" takes a tongue-in-cheek look at the initial journey of the (future) moon-Nazis to their desired destination.
Über den Autor
Ilsa von Braunfels was born somewhere in Paraguay in 1954. She is the daughter of absolutely, totally, and utterly voluntarily emigrated Germans. At the age of nineteen, she returned to her parents' Swabian home, settling in Stuttgart where she has since been studying German philology, for 78 semesters and counting. Asked by a journalist about the duration of her studies, the author answered that it was simply impossible to understand the literary achievements of the German people in less than a lifetime.
She is sharing her life with her husband Klaus, their son Arndt, and their German sheep dog, Eva. In her spare time, Ilsa likes visiting German folk music concerts and participating in goose step hiking, a discipline in which she has been German champion twice already. Ilsa likes traveling and has visited Antarctica several times.
