The Devil's Guard

A group of fearless explorers led by Jeff Ramsden are wandering through the Himalayas in search for his onetime compatriot Elmer Rait, whose lust for knowledge brought him in association with dugpa sorcerers of the Black Lodge.The group is drawn in the mists of the mountains where a battle is taking place between the Black Lodge and the White Lodge.

Talbot Mundy (1879-1940) was an English-born American writer of adventure fiction. Mundy spent his early adult years in India, East Africa and Middle East, and many of his novels and stories are set in that part of the world. He is best known as the author of King of the Khyber Rifles and the Jimgrim series.
