The Life of Bismarck

"The Life of Bismarck" is the best-known work of Johann George Ludwig Hesekiel. This book is the most thorough biography of the first Chancellor of the German Empire and one of the greatest politicians of 19th century, the famous "Iron Chancellor".

Johann George Ludwig Hesekiel was a German author from Halle. He attempted many different kinds of literary work, the most ambitious being perhaps his patriotic songs Preussenlieder. The best known of his works is his biography of Prince Otto von Bismarck.
