This little book of poetry and verse sums up the thoughts of the author as he worked his way through the last months of an abusive and violent marriage, and the hope he felt after finally achieving freedom from abuse.

Joseph B. Raimond, an American living in cultural exile in Germany, has published several books of poetry and graphics, has exhibited his paintings throughout Europe and has released over one hundred CDs, albums, singles and cassettes of his recordings.
