After Ibn Zaydun was the spoiled boy of Andalusia, close to the palace, circles of haters and envious people turned around him, and they began plotting conspiracies and intrigues against him. Problems rained down on him from every side, and Al-Jarim narrates this novel in a distinguished artistic style and exquisite language that indicates his grasp of the cornerstone of the language and his mastery of it.
