Education is the only way to achieve the country's renaissance, and Arab societies will not catch up with civilization unless they improve the methods and quality of education. The goal of education, in schools and universities, must not be limited to measuring the student's ability to memorize and memorize information in preparation for the exam, and let its primary goal be Developing individuals' creative thinking and creating a conscious generation capable of solving society's problems.
The first edition of this book was published in French in 1917, and it has been translated into several languages. In it, Gustave Le Bon, the French historian, discusses the common problems between Oriental education and French education, and the methods followed by modern reformers to change educational systems, and reviews the experience of the United States of America in reforming Education curricula, which bore fruit, until education reached the highest possible levels of perfection, whether in primary and secondary schools, or industrial and technical schools.
