Transformations of Arabic Poetics... Prose Poem
Über das eBook
The prose poem was the happiest literary genre and the most fortunate to benefit from the global cultural developments that brought about remarkable cognitive breakthroughs. The prose poets wrote experimental texts in form and content that could not be a development of Arab precursors that preceded them, let alone be a development of experimental experiments in the Arab heritage, which created An aesthetic style that achieved an aesthetic break with prevailing Arabic poetry, to achieve a pure, independent, and new poetic existence.
It is certain that the rules of reception for vertical poetry fail to capture the essence of this experience. Likewise, the critical traditions that helped critics delve into the experience of free poetry are no longer sufficient to understand the experience of the prose poem, and for some reason its contemporaries called it "the new sensitivity," which is something that must be paralleled. A new method of reception capable of capturing the essence of this poetic experience.
This book is a critical reading of this aesthetic experience, away from the prevailing critical clichés. It attempts to reach the essence of the poetic experience of the prose poem poets from within the depth of the experience and not by assuming critical rules from outside it. This is done by looking at seven poetic experiences, which were deliberately chosen for their novelty. The sum of these experiences gives a scenic panorama of the journey of prose poetry in its Arabic context.
