يُعدّ "جيروم كيه جيروم" (1859-1927) أحدَ أشهرِ كُتّاب الفكاهة في الأدب الإنجليزيّ. وقد حقّقت روايتُه الكوميدية الشهيرة "ثلاثة رجال في قارب" نجاحًا كبيرًا، وَتُرجِمَت إلى العديد من اللّغات. اشتهرَ جيروم بأُسلوبِهِ الظّريف وَقُدرتِه على رَسمِ الشّخصيات وَالمواقفِ بِطَريقةٍ فكاهيةٍ ساخرةٍ.
