The author's holding of many administrative positions in various Arab universities helped him to have comprehensive knowledge of university administration and governance, and to gain accumulated and diverse administrative experiences that enabled him to write this book. He held positions starting with department head, college dean, college dean, university vice president, and then university president at Minya University in the Arab Republic of Egypt over a period of more than 14 years. Then he worked as an advisor to one of the best Arab universities (King Abdulaziz University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). For a period of up to nine years, in addition to visits and participation in seminars and workshops in many countries of the developed world.
