Selections from Shakespeare's masterpieces

Shakespeare is classified as the greatest writer in the English language. He was a playwright and a poet. He was called the "National Poet" and the "Epic Poet of Avon." His plays were translated into most known languages, and his works found their way to theaters, cinema screens, and television over and over again, and received critical and philosophical readings. How rarely can the works of another writer attest to his example?
The fame gained by any other writer cannot be compared to Shakespeare's international fame at all levels, as he entered all cultures and literary, artistic and theatrical societies in all countries of the world.
Perhaps the best thing that was said about Shakespeare after his death was the words said by his friend and fellow writer of plays, Ben Johnson, in which he said: "He was not only the tongue of his time, but the tongue of all ages!" What an honest word!
