All we have to do is review the medical papers known by Hirst, Lender, Berlin, Ypres, Zwega, and others, which confirm this fact for us and confirm it for us about the art of mummification and the ingenuity they demonstrated in it that surpassed others, because they conjured drugs that preserve the body and protect it from rot and corruption.
This is what prompted Herodotus, the famous Greek historian, to mention in his history that the Egyptians were the ones who were unique in practicing the art of mummification, and they achieved great success and apparent progress in it, and that they had good knowledge in medicine, and that their doctors, since the ancient era, each specialized in one of its many branches, including Specialists in gynecology, eye diseases, and head and neck diseases, and that they followed methods and laws in their treatment that punished every doctor who violated them, and that doctors received their salaries from government finances.
