This is a new edition of the book "Ornament and Colors," which was written for school students to explain to them the rules and origins of decoration, give them an idea about colors and ways to coordinate them, explain their connection to various crafts and industries, and to all aspects of beauty and harmony in life, and show their close connection to good taste.
The book provides the student with a clear approach and a gradual, well-communicated plan, and guides the teacher to the best methods that arouse the students' desire, arouse their pleasure, and push them to work eagerly and energetically.
The book provided examples and drawings that were believed to be sufficient to explain the origins of decoration and colors and give the student a clear and clear idea about them. However, the purpose is not for the student to transmit the drawings silently and automatically, devoid of action and innovation. Rather, the purpose is to set examples, explain the simple rules and basic principles, and pave the way to creation and innovation.
