History of Babylon and Assyria

Historians have differed in explaining the origin of the Babylonians and Assyrians and many things related to the beginning of their affairs, so they went into various doctrines that were not compatible or close until the Franks in this time arrived at a solution to the writing known as cuneiform, which is the Assyrian letters, and it became clear to them much of what historians differed about, including that. Where he says in his history, as I have translated: Assyria includes many large cities, but the most glorious and most powerful of these cities is the city of Babylon, and the kings of that country have made it their capital since the destruction of the city of Nineveh.
