This book includes a collection of theses and scientific talks written or delivered by Dr. Ali Mustafa Musharrafa in the years prior to the publication of the book in 1943, and he has brought together their fragments. According to him, "I was encouraged to do so by what I saw of the scarcity of Arabic books on scientific topics despite the great need for them. Literary culture, despite its value, alone is no longer sufficient. Rather, scientific culture today is no less important in shaping the modern mentality."
Mosharafa took care to ensure that the book's material was accessible to the reader, free from complexity, and easy in style without compromising the scientific level. He did not go into technical details except to the extent necessary.
