Salah El-Din Dhaki is considered one of the pioneers of the short story in Egypt. He was born in Cairo in 1911 AD and graduated from the Faculty of Arts at Cairo University. He was appointed curator of the Egyptian Opera House, worked in journalism, and worked as editor-in-chief of the "Akhir Sa'a" magazine. His name became famous among readers in the 1940s and 1950s. He was twenty, and he had a prominent contribution to literary criticism, and he fought literary battles on the pages of newspapers and magazines.
