Hitler is in the balance

I am not a judge in this book, and I am not happy to be one, because I do not reconcile the two opponents on the issue of tyranny and human freedom. I thank God that I have been an old opponent in it for more than thirty years. That is, at the age in which some people pay attention to the manifestations of power and intrusion, and in which they imagine that courage and transgression are the same thing, and that pride is the humiliation of others, and that the distance of remembrance is a person's measure of glory, even if it is a remembrance of lethality, evil, and harm.
Thirty-odd years ago, I had the honor of disputing this eternal issue, and I was searching deep within myself, and I felt in it nothing but hatred and contempt for those whom they called the greats of history because they sought glory and fame through conquests and conquests, and measured their greatness by the extent of their contempt for "man."
