Casanova women
Über das eBook
Casanova, a businessman with octopus hands in Beacon City. He occupied the world before he succumbed to the stroke that tragically paralyzed him, depriving him of speech and movement. He asks to see his four wives and his maid: Lalla Kabira, the maid Mbaraka, the artist Zeena, the student Rukina, and the witch Sarai, so that he can tolerate them and apologize to them before his death.
What was just a traditional ritual turns into a real tragedy that confronts Casanova with his cruel history, which stole their innocence and turned them into nothing. Without name or identity. Everyone finds themselves in a heavy nightmare. Everyone is angels and everyone is devils.
Casanova women are a metaphor for an Arab scholar imprisoned by his rampant backwardness and his insistence on considering women merely household possessions and a creative force that constitutes more than half of society. The novel, in this sense, is a reflective mirror of a death that grew silently until today it became a reality that turned into a devastating explosion.
