Diamonds and women

Almaz, the Damascene Christian, the Hindu granddaughter of Babur, marries the Lebanese Count Karam Khoury, who lives in Paris, and begins her unexpected journey, crossing the Atlantic because of a love story. She finds herself in São Paulo, and builds her world there with the Arab immigrants, until she returns again to Paris to give birth to the expected grandson. For Count, Carlos.
Carlos, in turn, grows up in Damascus, and shares his dreams with his Kurdish friend Botan, the grandson of one of the most famous Kurdish princes, who leaves Damascus to fulfill his father's dreams. As for Carlos, he follows the journey of his mother Almaz and her blue diamond towards Brazil.
A novel that deals with Damascus society with its full religious spectrum, and it is the first work that deals with the Syrian diaspora in Latin America.
