What made Tolstoy loved and respected by all people? There is no doubt that his message to humanity made his value greater in souls and his status rise in the eyes. His message was worthy of attention and hearing, and the world demonstrated its willingness to hear it, and knew at first glance that this man was worthy of being one of the leaders of humanity, where darkness prevails and man is freed from the shackles of customs and traditions that have plunged human beings to the extremes of decadence, so they became in need of renewal. This is what prompted Brosseau to publish his book The Social Contract with this wonderful saying: "Man was born free, but we always see him bound in chains and shackles."
