Peace (play)

There is no doubt that the calamities that befall human beings and the calamities that befall them as a result of the war that breaks out between them threaten their existence, waste the benefit of their money, destroy their economy, annihilate the flower of youth, disintegrate the strength of men, paralyze the movement of civilization, and create factors of hatred among nations. There is no nation that descends into war except that, despite its military victory, it is a loser. It enters the war with one army of fighters, and exits it with two armies! An army of widows and an army of orphans!!
War is destruction in all its synonyms, devastation in all its forms. It contains atrocity and annihilation. As for peace, it is the song of life and the hymn of existence. It includes serenity, bliss, and prosperity. Wishes shine upon it, and it reflects its light in the souls, so they live, and eyes turn to it, so beauty appears to them, and it shines. There is hope on his forehead, and souls rejoice for him.
Peace...the angel of mercy, fluttering his wings, spreading the nation's breezes and meekness, and looking to us, so we all sing his beloved song to our souls. What a sweet melody, what a true echo, and what a deep meaning, peace is enough for us in this world!!
