The truth may escape the mind of the wretched, who is characterized by foolishness and lacks wisdom, which is reflected in his fate and the fates of the people around him. This is how "Jordan" is, in Molière's text "The Wealthy Nobleman," where the title seems more representative of the situation of this hero who is trying to get closer to the nobility in France, under the illusion that he belongs to them by wearing clothes that are similar to theirs.
In his text, Molière unveils the human soul that is heedless, immersed in greed, and far from the nobility it should have, but prefers illusions of wealth and false claims to appear in its true image.
