Education in Islam

Muslims did not lag behind others in this field of education, as their imams and thinkers have written about education since the first centuries. They had funny eyes that were not created by the passage of time. However, many of the writings of the ancients were lost, while the works of the righteous predecessors were lost, and many of the writings of the ancients remained hidden from sight in the corners of the bookstores, among the stacks of manuscripts, only those who are passionate about research and exploration can find their place.
This is one of those valuable works. It is the book detailing the conditions of teachers and learners, by Abu Al-Hasan Ali bin Muhammad Al-Qabsi, who died in 403 AH, 1012 AD. It is being published by Dr. Ahmed Fouad Al-Ahwani, and he publishes with it a study on "Education in the opinion of Al-Qabsi among the scholars of the fourth century."
This book is composed of research and manuscript text. As for Al-Qabsi's book, it is a book of great benefit to researchers of education and its history among Muslims, and it depicts the state of education in his time.
In his book, Dr. Al-Ahwani meant to translate Al-Qabsi's and then present the topics of his book in a new way, taking into account their organization and clarification, returning them to their origins, and linking them to the doctrines of jurists and the theologians' articles. He also meant to highlight the humor in the author's opinions, and what is subject to criticism, and to balance Al-Qabsi's doctrine with modern doctrines in education and learning.
