Means and ends

In this book, the political thinker Aldous Huxley presents and criticizes modern means of governance and administration, wars, the idea of ​​equality, education, religion, beliefs, and morals. Huxley marvels at the large amount of ignorance in the world, and the weakness of the synthetic outlook among thinkers and researchers. He wants to know everything, and believes that he cannot reach a decision on any matter in life unless he understands everything. Therefore, he does not hesitate to study and collect. The author tends to subject different manifestations to one comprehensive rule, and in his prime he may be able to lead the world to goodness and happiness.
He explains that war is a human phenomenon that does not exist in the animal world, because animals fight during the sexual revolution or for food or for fun and play in very few cases, and it is not obviously war for a wolf to kill a sheep or a cat to play with a mouse, for this is similar to the work of a butcher when he kills what people feed him, or similar to the work of a hunter when he tracks down a fox and a rabbit.
