Gods of Earth

Gibran Khalil Gibran unleashes his imagination to trace the dialogue of the earthly gods, in all their afflictions, sorrows, and imaginations about the world. Through these dialogues, Gibran presents his deep philosophical vision of life, which reveals a permanent existential anxiety that is present in most of his writings. Man, as Gibran sees him, is bound to his screams at the moment of birth, then his life ends with the wailing of his children at the moment of his death, and between these two moments he lives moments of joy and misery, of pain and joy, of joys and fears.
