Readings in Books and Life

The entire universe, life (which is more general than the universe in my view), art, and the views of the earth and sky, are all manifestations of harmony or conflict between freedom and necessity, or between beauty and benefit, or between spirit and matter, or between the joys and weights of art. Absolute forces and laws govern these absolute forces, and the more forces and laws come together, the closer they are to the artistic quality and the beautiful system that shows through matter the purity of the soul, and explores with restrictions the depths of freedom, and this alliance is the constitution of the divine art that surrounds everything, and it is the philosophy of philosophies in this existence.
