Beliefs of Thinkers

Research was renewed in modern European civilization on the issue of religious belief, and many thinkers felt hollow in their souls as a result of the principles of denial and obstructionism that spread during the nineteenth century. Some of them worked hard to reconcile the foundations of science with the foundations of faith, and others tried to adopt their own religion in which they could be at ease with their minds and consciences and in which they would find peace of heart and insight. These researches resulted in a new direction that is still at the beginning of the road. What is this new direction? Where does this road end?
Does it have another stage that researchers and thinkers are waiting for? Will the steps be straightened after this hesitant step on a platform with clear definitions and goals?
