Journalism between hobby and professionalism

Is journalism a hobby or a profession, and is it possible to apply the standards of hobbyism in the context of professionalism? This is an important question that must be answered. There are those who say: There are distinguished writers who have become models in terms of professionalism and creativity in the world and not just in the Arab world. When we review their journalistic lives, we find that their beginnings are exemplary, especially in the accuracy of conveying information, credibility in dealing with others, and not compromising on professional ethics. This distinction is considered the basis of every craft in which a person is creative, such as journalist, sculptor, actor, and any other profession.
