Principles of the public press

It was also natural for Bonaparte - who had brought a number of scholars and researchers to Egypt - to think of issuing a bulletin containing the minutes of the sessions held by these scholars, and the results of the discoveries made by these researchers, and to send them to France, declaring his scientific victory alongside his military victories.
