Asmahan.. An Unfinished Melody

People love characters full of contradictions, and throughout their history people have been passionate about such characters, immortalized by many factors, as happened with Asmahan, who will remain a mystery whose words will never be solved, as she did not leave behind documents that explain her life, which is full of contradictions.
Mahmoud Qassem says, "When I decided to write about Asmahan at the request of the publisher, I felt that I was inside a forest full of mazes and thorny trees... Other colleagues wrote about other aspects in many references, and I do not think that I have found an artistic personality that the artistic press would accept like Asmahan, and how many Egyptian and Arab newspapers and magazines devoted multiple episodes to talking about her, and there is no doubt that I returned to many while writing about her, but in the end I was able to imbue my writing with my style of research, in order to make a book in your hands.
