The Divan of Secrets and Symbols
Über das eBook
The poet-philosopher Muhammad Iqbal published his first philosophical collection, "The Secrets of Khudi," in 1915 AD. It is a long poem in one sea, in double rhyme, divided into chapters in which he clarifies his philosophy of subjectivity, idea after idea, and depicts it in wonderful poetic images.
Then he published his second collection of poems related to this collection, "Rumuz Bi Khudi," which is a Persian word that indicates self-esteem and self-admiration, but Iqbal transferred it to another meaning that he made the basis of his philosophy, which is for a person to know himself, strengthen it, and bring out the talents deposited in it.
Muhammad Iqbal says, "...By my nature and upbringing, I am inclined towards Sufism, and the philosophy of Europe has increased my inclination toward it, for this philosophy in its entirety tends toward the unity of existence; but by contemplating the glorious Qur'an, and carefully studying the history of Islam, I changed my initial thoughts, fought my natural inclination, and united through the path of my fathers."
