When he obtained his doctorate, he returned to Egypt to work as a professor in the Faculty of Science, then in the School of Medicine as a professor of natural sciences, then he returned again to the Faculty of Science as a professor of applied mathematics.
Western scientists participated in developing modern theories in mathematics, published many research papers in major scientific journals, and contributed enlightened opinions in pure mathematics.
"Mosharafa" contributed to establishing a scientific culture at the Egyptian University. He made the Arabic language the basis of scientific research by establishing a department for scientific translation, which specialized in translating major rare scientific books into the Arabic language.
